ปีแห่ง Pop culture จริงๆ สำหรับ MTV VMAs 2020 หรือ MTV Video Music Awards 2020 ที่ปีนี้มีศิลปินที่มีชื่อเข้าชิงมากหน้าหลายตามากขึ้น โดยเฉพาะสาขา K-POP ที่ค่อนข้างครึกครื้นและเป็นที่พูดถึงในโลกออนไลน์ตั้งแต่วันประกาศรายชื่อผู้เข้าชิงวันแรก
เจ้าแห่งเหรียญทองในโลกของดนตรีประจำงานนี้เป็นของดีว่าสาว Lady Gaga ที่คว้าไปได้ทั้งหมด 5 รางวัล ทั้งรางวัลที่ได้ร่วมกับดีว่าสาวเล็ก Ariana Grande จากเพลง “Rain On Me” ที่ได้ไปทั้งรางวัล Song of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Cinematography (กำกับโดย Thomas Kloss) และอีก 2 รางวัลใหญ่ Artist of the Year และ Tricon Award ทางด้านสาว Ariana Grande ในปีนี้คือว่าเป็นที่เธอ featuting กับใครก็รุ่งจริงๆ นอกจาก “Rain On Me” ที่คว้าไปถึง 3 รางวัลแล้ว ยังมีเพลง “Stuck with U” ที่ทำร่วมกับ Justin Bieber คว้ารางวัล Best Music Video From Home กลับบ้านไปอีก 1 รางวัลด้วย
