คลิปสัมภาษณ์แบมแบม ที่ก้าวสู่ตำแหน่งศิลปินเดี่ยวได้อย่างน่าภาคภูมิใจ ทั้งเพลง “riBBon” สุดฮิตติดหู ชีวิตที่แตกต่างจากตอนอยู่กับ GOT7 และเมนูอาหารไทยที่หากินไม่ได้ที่เกาหลี

ไม่ใช่เรื่องง่ายกับการเริ่มต้นใหม่ในฐานะศิลปินเดี่ยวครั้งแรก หลังจากประสบความสำเร็จอย่างงดงามจากการเป็นสมาชิกวงบอยแบนด์ที่ได้รับความนิยมทั่วโลกอย่าง GOT7 มา 7 ปี ในวันนี้ที่ “แบมแบม” (BamBam) กันต์พิมุกต์ ภูวกุล ตัดสินใจเริ่มต้นเส้นทางอาชีพศิลปินเดี่ยวของตัวเองอย่างเต็มที่ ภายใต้บ้านหลังใหม่อย่าง ABYSS Company 

นอกจากแฟนๆ จะได้ภาพลักษณ์สดใสร่าเริงที่อาจจะเซอร์ไพรส์ใครหลายๆ คนที่ทำให้เราได้เห็นความสามารถทางดนตรีอันหลากหลายของแบมแบมได้อย่างชัดเจนแล้ว ยังเป็นเรื่องที่พิสูจน์ได้ว่า ไม่ว่าจะงานไหนๆ แบมแบมตั้งใจทำให้ดีที่สุดในแบบของตัวเอง และเขาเป็นที่ยอมรับของทุกคนได้ด้วยความสามารถและความอุตสาหะของเขาเองจริงๆ

Sanook Music มีโอกาสได้สัมภาษณ์แบมแบม ในฐานะที่เป็นศิลปินเดี่ยวครั้งแรก กับเพลง “riBBon” สุดฮิตติดหู ชีวิตที่แตกต่างจากตอนอยู่กับ GOT7 และเมนูอาหารไทยที่หากินไม่ได้ที่เกาหลี ให้ชาวอากาเซได้อัปเดตชีวิตของเขาหลังจากนี้ไปพร้อมๆ กัน

ทำไมถึงตั้งชื่ออัลบั้มแรกของตัวเองว่า "riBBon"?

แบมแบม: "riBBon" เป็นชื่อเพลงและชื่ออัลบั้มที่ผมคิดเอาไว้มาตลอดว่าถ้าเกิดตัวเองมีโซโล่อัลบั้ม อยากตั้งชื่อว่า riBBon จริงๆ มันมาจากคำว่า Reborn กับ Ribbon ถ้าพูดเป็นสำเนียงภาษาเกาหลี คำว่า "รีบอน" ทั้ง 2 คำนี้ จะออกเสียงเหมือนกัน มี 2 ความหมาย มีทั้งความหมายเกิดใหม่ เกิดออกมาใหม่ โชว์ลุคใหม่ โชว์ด้านใหม่ของผม และ Ribbon ที่เวลาเราได้ของขวัญ เราก็จะได้ของใหม่ๆ ก็อยากจะนำเสนอตัวเองว่า เกิดใหม่แล้ว เราเป็นของขวัญให้ทุกคน อะไรประมาณนี้ครับ

เนื้อเพลง "riBBon" เกี่ยวกับอะไรบ้าง?

แบมแบม: เพลง “riBBon” เป็นเกี่ยวกับผมแหละครับ เนื้อเพลงก็จะประมาณว่า “อยากโชว์ด้านที่ดีขึ้น อยากโชว์ด้านที่เก่งขึ้น อะไรใหม่ๆ เกี่ยวกับผม” เราก็จะมีเนื้อเพลงหลักเป็น hope ก็คือ ความหวัง เวลาทุกคนฟัง สามารถร้องตามง่าย สมมติถ้าเกิดทุกคนมีเรื่องไม่สบายใจ ผมก็อยากจะ message อยากบอกผ่านเพลงนี้ ไม่ว่าจะเหนื่อย ไม่ว่าจะมีเรื่องอะไร เรามีความหวังอยู่ตลอด 

ระหว่างที่ทำเพลงนี้ ก็สนุกครับ ไม่ได้ยากอะไรมากมาย ก็เป็นครั้งแรกด้วย อาจจะต้องทำอะไรเยอะกว่าปกติหน่อยครับ เพราะว่าเป็นโซโล่ แต่ก็สนุกครับ ได้ทำอะไรที่ผมชอบ ได้ทำอะไรที่อยากทำมานานแล้วแต่ไม่ได้ทำ ก็รู้สึกดีครับ

สิ่งที่แตกต่างจากตอนอยู่กับ GOT7

แบมแบม: สิ่งที่แตกต่างก็ น่าจะเป็น… เวลาอยู่ห้องแต่งตัว ก็จะเงียบหน่อย จะเหงาๆ นิดนึงครับ ส่วนเรื่องการแสดง หรือเรื่องเพลง ปกติเราก็จะมีการแบ่ง part กัน แต่ตอนนี้ก็ต้องร้องคนเดียว มันก็ต้องซ้อมมากขึ้น ต้องใส่ใจ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการอัดเพลง หรืออะไรต่างๆ มันก็จะนานขึ้นนิดนึง ก็ต้องดูแลสุขภาพด้วยตัวเองด้วยครับ

เพื่อนๆ GOT7 มีฟีดแบ็คกับเพลงของเราบ้างไหม?

แบมแบม: จริงๆ ก็มีคุยกับเมมเบอร์ทุกคนเลย ก็จะมีพี่จินยองที่ส่งมาคนแรก พอเห็นรูปที่ผมเอาริบบิ้นมาผูกตัว ก็ส่งมาว่า รูปออกมาดีมาก เขาไม่คิดว่าจะทำเป็นสไตล์สดใสอย่างนี้ หลายๆ คนครับ ผมว่าแฟนคลับ อากาเซ ทุกๆ คนก็น่าจะคิดเหมือนกัน นึกว่าผมจะออกมาเป็นแนวเซ็กซี่ ดาร์กๆ แมนๆ หน่อย แต่ว่า ไม่รู้สิครับ ผมไม่รู้ทำไม ทำอะไรแล้ว อะไรสักอย่างทำให้ผมเปลี่ยนใจ ก็อยากทำอะไรที่สดใสก่อนครับ เพราะว่ามันเป็นเฟิร์สโซโล่ด้วย ไม่อยากทำอะไรดาร์กๆ มาก เมมเบอร์แต่ละคนก็ชอบครับ หลายๆ คนตกใจกับคอนเซ็ปต์นิดนึงครับ

พี่ซอนมี รุ่นพี่ร่วมค่ายใหม่ ให้คำแนะนำอะไรบ้างไหม?

แบมแบม: ตอนถ่ายมิวสิควิดีโอ พี่ซอนมีก็มาให้กำลังใจถึงกองถ่ายเลยครับ ถ่ายต่างจังหวัดที่เกาหลี ซึ่งจริงๆ ไกลมาก กับพี่ซอนมีตอนแรกผมก็จะมีเกร็งๆ บ้าง มีกังวลบ้าง แต่พี่ซอนมีคอยให้กำลังใจตลอด ไม่ว่าจะเป็นผ่านทาง social หรือว่าผ่านทาง message ที่เราคุยกัน รวมถึงมาให้กำลังใจ มาเซอร์ไพรส์ถึงที่ พยายามมาให้ผมไม่เกร็ง เลยรู้สึกว่าอย่างน้อยก็มีคนที่ผมสนิท แล้วก็เป็นรุ่นพี่ด้วย พอมีพี่ซอนมีอยู่ข้างๆ ตลอด มันก็ทำให้ผมสบายใจมากขึ้น แล้วก็เวลาถ่ายหรือทำอะไรตอนนี้ มันก็ทำให้ผมไม่ค่อยเกร็ง คือมีเพื่อนที่คอยคุยด้วย อะไรด้วย

รู้สึกอย่างไรบ้างที่ได้รางวัล Song of the Year จากเพลง “พี่ไม่หล่อลวง” จาก JOOX Thailand Music Awards 2021?

แบมแบม: ผมได้รางวัล Song of the Year เป็นครั้งแรก รู้สึกเป็นเกียรติมากครับ เพราะเป็นรางวัลที่ผมอยากรับมาตั้งนานแล้ว ตั้งแต่ตอนทำเพลง “พี่ไม่หล่อลวง” เป้าหมายสูงสุดของเพลงนี้ คือได้รางวัล Song of the Year เพราะอยากทำเพลงที่ทุกคนร้องตามได้ ทำเพลงที่ไม่ว่าไปที่ไหน ก็สามารถเปิดได้ทุกสถานการณ์และทุกสถานที่ ซึ่งก็ถือว่าบรรลุเป้าหมายครับ 

จริงๆ ก็ต้องขอบคุณอากาเซทุกคนมากครับ เพราะว่าคอยฟัง คอยสนใจ ไม่ว่าจะทำเป็น challenges หรืออะไรต่างๆ ก็คอยช่วยมาตลอดเลย ก็อยากจะขอบคุณมากๆ เลยครับ

สิ่งแรกที่อยากทำ/อยากกิน หากได้กลับมาไทย

แบมแบม: กลับครั้งแรก ต้องเจอคุณแม่ก่อน เจอคุณแม่แล้วก็ อยากไปเจอหลานเป็นครั้งแรกครับ พอดีพี่ชายคนโตมีลูก นี่จะสองขวบแล้ว เดินได้แล้ว พูดได้แล้ว ยังไม่เคยเจอเลยครับ ก็อยากเจอหลาน เจอคุณแม่ก่อน

สิ่งที่อยากกินที่สุด น่าจะเป็นกุ้งเต้นครับ ไม่มีที่เกาหลีเลย

มีแพลนจะกลับมาพบแฟนๆ ชาวไทยไหม?

แบมแบม: เอาจริงๆ มีแพลนตลอดครับ ถ้าโควิดดีขึ้นเมื่อไร จะบินกลับทันทีเลยครับ เพราะว่าจริงๆ มีแพลนด้วย ไม่ว่าจะแพลนงาน งานอีเว้นท์ งานโฆษณา หรือไม่ก็ คอนเสิร์ต แฟนมีตติ้ง อะไรก็ได้ครับ และถึงแม้จะไม่ได้กลับไปเพื่อทำงาน ก็คงกลับไปเจอครอบครัวอยู่ดี เพราะไม่ได้เจอมาสองปีแล้ว เจอครอบครัวหน่อยก็น่าจะดีครับ ถ้าเกิดโควิดดีขึ้นเมื่อไร ประเทศไทยจะเป็นประเทศแรกเลยครับที่ผมจะไป ผมสัญญา

ฝากถึงแฟนๆ ชาวไทยหน่อย

แบมแบม: อยากขอบคุณอากาเซ พี่ๆ น้องๆ รอบข้างทุกๆ คนที่เป็นอากาเซหรือไม่เป็นก็ตาม ที่คอยให้ความสนใจเกี่ยวกับ riBBon เฟิร์สโซโล่อัลบั้มของผมในครั้งนี้นะครับ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นสื่อหรือว่ารายการวิทยุ พี่ๆ DJ เค้าก็คอยพูดมาตลอด ยกตัวอย่างเช่น แฉแต่เช้า เขาก็จะคอย update คอยพูดถึงข่าวของผมตลอด 

ไม่รู้ว่าเพลงออกมาแล้ว ทุกคนจะชอบแล้วก็พอใจกับอัลบั้มรอบนี้ไหม แต่ว่าก็พยายามเต็มที่แล้ว ก็อยากให้ทุกคนติดตาม แล้วก็ support "riBBon" แล้วก็ทุกเพลงในอัลบั้มเลย ยังไงก็คอยฟังกันเยอะๆ ด้วยนะครับ ขอบคุณมากๆ เลยครับ เดี๋ยวผมจะรีบกลับประเทศไทย แล้วก็ตอบแทนความรักของทุกคนแน่นอนครับ

The exclusive interview with BamBam about how he became the proudly soloist with his hit track “riBBon”, how his life changed without GOT7 members for the first time and his favorite Thai dish that he can’t find in Korea.

It’s not an easy task when it comes to promoting as a soloist after being in one of the world’s most successful K-POP groups, GOT7, for 7 years. Now, BamBam-Kunpimook Bhuwakul has decided to start a new chapter of life by being a soloist under his new label, ABYSS Company.

Apart from his lively image that surprised many people as we could obviously see his various music talents he has, he also proved to us that whatever tasks he got, he always did his best in his own way and he really became recognised and accepted by his talents and efforts.

Sanook Music has an opportunity to do an exclusive interview with him, asking about how he officially became the soloist for the first time with the song “riBBon”, how his life changed without GOT7 members and the Thai dish that he craved for and couldn’t find it in Korea.

Why do you name your first album as "riBBon"?

BamBam: "riBBon" is the song and album title that I always think that if I have a solo album, it will be named as riBBon. There are two words; Reborn and Ribbon. In Korean, these 2 words are pronounced the same (Re-Born). So, there're two meanings, (1) reborn, renewed, showing my new look and (2) ribbon, like when we receive a present, a brand new one. I'd like to present myself as a reborn me. I'm a new present to you, something like that.

What's the song "riBBon" about?

BamBam: The lyric of "riBBon" is about me. It’s about how I'd like to show you the new, the better and smarter me. The main point is giving hope. Everyone can listen and sing along easily. If you have some worries, I'd like to give a message through this song. Whenever you feel tired or anything. We always have hope. 

While recording this song, it was fun and not that hard. But it was the first time, so as a solo work, it might have more things to do. But it was still fun. I could do what I like and what I wanted to do for so long. So I feel good.

The differences from when you were with GOT7.

BamBam:  The difference may be… while I'm in a waiting room. It will be a little bit quiet and lonely. And for the song and performance part, normally we divided a song into parts. But now I had to do it all alone. So I had to practice more and concentrate on recording and other things. It took a little more time and I also had to take care of myself.

Any feedback from GOT7 members?

BamBam:  Actually I talked with all of them. But Jinyoung sent a message to me first. He saw a photo of me with the ribbon and he said the photo looks so good. He never thought I'd do such a bright concept. Many people, including Ahgase, might think the same. You might think I'd do a sexy, dark and manly concept. But, I don't know. I also don't know why. Something changed my mind. So I go with a bright concept first. Maybe it was my fist solo, So I may not want to go for a dark look. All the members love it. They might be a bit surprised.

Did Sunmi, your senior at the company, give you some advice?

BamBam: Sunmi noona came to give me support at the MV set. It was shot in the countryside, so it was very far. I was a bit awkward and nervous at first, but she always gives me support through social media or messages or even came to surprise me at the set. She helped me relax while shooting. At least there's a close acquaintance senior when she was by my side, it made me more relaxed. And while shooting something like this, it made me less nervous because there's a friend to talk to.

How did you feel when you won Song of the Year with "Phi Mai Lor Luang" from JOOX Thailand Music Awards 2021?

BamBam: I'm so honored for my first Song of the Year award. It's an award I wanted to receive for so long. Since I recorded "Phi Mai Lor Luang", my goal is to receive the Song of the Year award. I wanted to make a song people can sing along whenever, wherever, in all situations. So I think I reached my goal.

Actually I'd like to thank all Ahgase, who keep listening and paying attention, doing challenges and stuff. They always help me with it. So, I'd like to say thank you so much. It was a big honor for me.

First thing to do/food to eat if you can go back to Thailand.

BamBam: First, I will definitely visit my mother. After that, I'd like to see my nephew. My big brother has a son. He's nearly 2 years old. Now he can walk and speak, But I've never seen him once. So I'd love to meet my nephew and my mother first. And the food I'd love to eat first is Freshwater Shrimp Spicy Salad. It can't be found in Korea.

Do you have a plan to come and meet Thai fans?

BamBam: Actually, I always have that plan. If the pandemic is getting better, I'll definitely go back. Honestly, I already have a plan for work, events, advertisements, even concerts or fan meetings. Even though it's not for work, I still want to go back. I haven't seen my family for 2 years already. So, I want to meet my family. If the pandemic is getting better, Thailand will be the first place to go. I promise.
